Tengo mucho calor!

The temperature here today is again over 100 degrees.  It’s too hot to go to bed early so we stay up late in the relative cool of the air-conditioned living room.  Then we get up too late to get anything done!  Everything closes at noon for hours and then many ‘official’ offices remain closed for the day, so my search for work has taken a bit of a back seat, along with buying more decorating materials, carrying out ‘essential work’ on the house, or sorting out some of the more pressing ‘admin issues’ we have to do with our move here.
 
At the moment, we do the housework, walk the dogs, and try to ‘chill out’.  Even chatting with the neighbours is on hold, as most of them are also hiding from the heat in their homes.  There is always the local bar of course, or the net.
 
Which is why I have posted a rather long (and slightly ‘technical’ - in a building sense anyway) entry on my other blog.  It’s something to do after all!
